Leaving Bangalore for a job abroad rarely comes with a tidy handover of your India money. A resident account that should have been re-designated, a folio with KYC still showing an Indian address, an SIP funded from a source that no longer matches your status. Cambridge Wealth's goal-linked distribution process starts from your stated goals, timelines and liquidity needs, sets an asset allocation framework against them, and organises scheme information around that framework. Every scheme considered passes a documented 108-point research review across 5,000+ Indian investment products. You get portfolio analysis and drift correction showing where weights sit against the allocation you set, visibility into holdings, and written disclosure of how Cambridge Wealth is compensated.

A documented 108-point research framework evaluates 5,000+ Indian investment products on quantitative and qualitative factors before a scheme enters the distribution universe.
Onboarding documentation is handled digitally and calls are scheduled around your time zone, so being outside India changes the logistics rather than the options.
The Founder's Portfolio publishes the CIO's own allocation and quarter-by-quarter changes from 2008 onward, across several market cycles.

Your resident accounts have to be re-designated once your status changes under Section 6 — a resident savings account becomes NRO, and fresh foreign earnings should route to NRE or FCNR. Existing mutual fund folios generally continue with KYC updated to reflect NRI status, though a few AMCs apply extra requirements for US- and Canada-resident investors. Cambridge Wealth supports the documentation side of that transition.
